Handmade stained glass Flycatcher on beaver chewed driftwood sourced from the lakes of Northern Saskatchewan. The Flycatcher was created with 14 pieces of top quality stained glass, copper foiled and soldered using the Tiffany method. The solder is finished with a shiny black patina that has been carefully waxed and polished for protection and shine.
13.5" tall and 8" wide
I have taken artistic license with the Flycatcher. They are not as colourful here in Saskatchewan. They may not look like bullies but the Least Flycatcher is one of the boldest and pugnacious songbirds in the province. Feather flying fights are quite often used to settle disputes.
